It's been a busy fall semester! Arts&Med brought back the "My White Coat Means" series for the class of 2021, hosted Hippocrates Cafe, hiked Old Rag through the night, rocked out at Mason Inn, and sang at Georgetown University Medical Center (including with Coy Bowles of the Zac Brown Band!!!!) and IONA senior services center. Thanks you to everyone who participated in these events!
Our leadership team celebrated a successful fall semester with an Arts&Medsgiving - thanks John for hosting!
Stay on the lookout for more next semester from Arts&Med! We have been hard at work creating the newest edition of Scope, which we plan to release in early February. We are also currently planning "What Makes You..." with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (send your submissions in by Dec. 29th!). "What Makes You..." will be Jan 16 from 5:30-8pm in Proctor Harvey. This year's theme is "More Than Medicine," and we can't wait to see the many talents the GUSOM community will bring to the event.
We're looking forward to another semester of music, art, and writing within medicine! And Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!
